I did a trip to Idaho at the end of June. We floated 7 days on the South Fork and Henry's Fork. I was hoping for blizzard hatches and non stop dry fly but that did not happen. It was a mix of indicators, dry/dropper set ups, streamers and the occasional dry fly. The South Fork was running at 13500 cfs and every drop of it was destined for irrigation. No drought on the South Fork. It was a lot like fishing the Lower Sac. The Henrys Fork was around 1000 cfs. They are low on water there and were holding flow back for later in the summer. The green drake was supposed to be happening but was not. Pretty good times, some nice fish and plenty of Coors Light.

Nice! Those are some really nice specimens of the elusive Idaho trout-fish, real fatties.

Sorry about the Coors Light, though! ;)
