Drove up to Tahoe today. It was 87 at Silver Fork around 3 o'clock. Lake level is 85 plus. Pretty severe thunder storms from kirkwood and east along 88. Thunderheads are primarily on the east side. It ain't pretty.

Hope this helps:

Try hwy 4. Lake Alpine is always nice. Nearby are the Highlands Lakes, and the Moke is a nice skinny stream along the road to the lakes. The NF Stan on the road to Spicer is another option. You can also shoot (slowly) over the pass to the EF Carson if weather permits.

On Carson Pass, try Woods Lake.

Hope this helps.
