The eastern US dobsonfly larva is called a hellgrammite; not a wimp in its own right. Great bait
and imitation, as well.

but this adult is 8.5 INCHES long...imagine the hellgrammite size on the pre-emergent nypmh?? And it IS related to the dobsonfly
