Lower Klamath Rver has a lot of salmon and some steelhead but.....

the water is low and in the high 70s mid-day.

Just talked with Mike at the Eureka Fly Shop.

He has been scouting the lower river for Steelhead in his jet boat.

He said there are lots of salmon right now.

We are hoping for some cooler weather.........soon.

Yes there is quite a bit of salmon and some steelhead. But if no cooler weather comes in then we might see a shutdown. Unless they decided to put some water in the system. I will be keeping an eye out for the development I plan on going up soon.
