Looking for info on backpacking my tube to high mountain lakes.
I am using Fat Cat with back packing straps, and Force Fins, booties, and waders.
Do you go inflated? Do you use booties, or just put the fins on the foot pieces of the waders? Booties give some extra protection to bottoms of the waders. Trying to save some weight if I don't bring the booties. But I would not walk around without booties.
Have a pump to bring. K Pump (100), One or two fly boxes. One or two reels with one rod.
Going 5 miles in and out. Not long, just trying to see how all this works.
Any input would be appreciated.
