Davis Lake 6/5 to 6/13

WOW......I fish 8 days straight and everyday was different, with the weather, full moon, and the wind you had to do some looking to find the fish. Water temp. went from 62 degrees to 74 degrees, and then back down to 61 degrees in one week, fishing was from sunup to sundown with a little break in midday for a nap and some food. Some days i would land 9 fish and some days 1 fish.....but....most of the trout are 18 to 20+ inches with a lot more weight to them this year. Half of the trout that i landed was caught on a floating line and a Damsel fly around the weed beds, the Hex flies are a big part of Davis Lake now, and if you are in the right part of the lake there is a evening grab on floating Hex's.
