It has been wonderful in the fast water this fish are lock up in the fast water big time !!!!!
Even the big fish have found there way in to the faster pocket water.
Been getting about three big fish a day around 20 inches out of the same pockets as the smaller fish avrage day has been in the teens and some day a little more. Temps at nignt have been 10 degrees less today. They have been very grabby. Buddy holographics in light & dark have been best sz.in 12 & 14's. Flies can be found in truckee's fly shop
flash caddis have been a close second . You need to be able to hit the small pocket & control the lines. Nymphing free roming caddis is the ticket. As they are very active in drop in temps.
Old school fiberglass rods.. Have aid us in ultamate control at the short game .
