Hooked up tonight with a good buddy, the best man in my upcoming wedding. Through the last years we have gotten very intimate with a pond near my home, one that dictates night fishing only. Nothing too crazy to write home about, but its our pond. We between the two of us in about two hours we got over a dozen blowups, and each with a few fish to hand, i landed one around 4 pounds with a great blowup at my feet on charlies bubble head.
Its time, from now on im spending my time in between the lower yuba river, the forks of the american and ponds. northern california in the spring and early summer is a very hard place to beat.
