.....few months. April, May and June.

The largest run will go up the Sacramento River up past Colusa, California.

Then the Feather, Yuba and American Rivers all usually get a good run of fish.

Even with low water, we will catch lots of Shad on small flies.

Early and late in the day, in lower light is always best.

Try to get out during the week after work for a few hours.
