My husband and I had a great time while attending the fly expo at the new store, super weather and what a turn out! We cast a bunch of rods, got the low down on all sorts of gear from the sales reps. Ran into some old friends and met what could be some new ones and of course, who could pass up those dogs! Kudos to the grill crew.
I was excited about picking up a new rod while at the expo, but early in the following week as we were heading in from a good day at Pyramid Lake, I got the message that I’d won my choice of BVK or Mangrove rods in one of the fly expo raffles. Guys, WOW ! Thank you so much.
As much as I was tempted to go with the Mangrove, now I have a matched set of BVK’s.
Chalk one up for the girls !
