Awesome Galvan Customer Service!

So I sent a OB5 reel into Galvan that was pretty beat up. UPS showed up today with the box. Galvan couldn't take the dings out of my old reel, so they sent me a brand new reel and spool, fixed my old spool, sent me a neoprene pouch and apologized for not being able to fix the original. Wow!! Far and above anything I expected. Galvan has made me a customer for life. Made in the USA, Built in California, It doesn't get any better than that. I am truly impressed! Justin

The Galvan family/company is a top notch family. Yes, they do give excellent customer service and have a great product. I have a lot of other reels on my closet shelf but always take my Torque series where ever I travel. Right now in Baja I have 3 T10's that will soon get a work out. Like you said, made in the USA.

The family and the reels are top notch. I use them everyday on the boat, schools and walk and wades. Great reels. The reels are great and they are a lifetime piece. A work of art. I only use the Torques!!!

I agree 100%,

I fell down and banged my Torque T-5 on a rock - purely my fault. I sent it in, they repaired it and had it back to me in a week at no charge. Terrific reels, even better service and great people.

I'm with Lance.....Galvan is all I use/provide my clients.
Nice to be able to call them and talk to the same person (Connie) to sort an issue out.
I don't baby them, or clean the reels either, year after year they just keep reeling in fish.......
Their bronze is a nice match for the new Sage Method.....

My favorite is the T-8. I used it for salty salmon, dorado, roosterfish, stripers and more. One rugged reel.

If you havn't been up to check out their new digs, it is worth the drive. New warehouse, new machines and a nice place for the gals to work also. It is a very sweet set up.

Have they updated there drag system on the torque?

According to Marcos and Boni they made some changes a while back : the drag disc was ventilated to aid in start up inertia and prevent hydroplaning.
