I have heard rumors and stories about them but last week I saw one. While floating through a shallow flat about 4' deep I spotted a 6' (at least ) sturgeon. It was huge. I was talking to one of our DFG officers later in the day and he was telling me there used to be sturgeon egg collecting devices in the water around Bonneyview. It was a pretty cool site.

By the way the river continues to fish well, the wind can be an issue but it doesn't have to ruin your day.
