Fun day at the fly fishing expo yesterday.

Nice day yesterday at the Fly fishing Expo. Saw some old friends, there were some nice presentations on fly fishing opportunities, lots of nice new gear, picked up some fly tying materials and watched and chatted with some fly tiers. A tier by the name of Wayne gave me this nice steelhead that he whipped up while we were chatting :)

Hey, Bill. The picture reminds me of a time when I was a kid at a shop back east. Poul Jorgensen and Dave Whitlock were tying, and Poul showed Dave a photo of one of his incredible Atlantic Salmon patterns. Dave responded "nice photo - lousy fly, though".

Seriously, really enjoyed talking to you, and the Expo was outstanding as always.
