Bought this used line listed as rio outbound, when I loaded it up tonight I see this at the junction- I'm thinking this is not what rio built at the factory? I've got an OBS that looks nothing like this.

I think I got sold a mono shooting line with a head.

Well,.... The connection isn't the real way to check out your choice. Measure the length of the line. If it's 35' or less, it's likely a shooting head. Longer than that, it's likely a full line.

It looks to be marked as a 6 weight line or head. (one large mark=5, + one small mark=1). Without seeing the entire line it's impossible to tell much more as to what you have.

888424 ft head, but this is not an integrated fly line by any means
Here is the line pulled for the reel w a picture of the box it came in

You might try sending "aaron" a PM. He's working for Rio.

Box lists it as a 120 ft line- I've pmed the seller and asked for some clarification, I noted just now on his classified as that he was also selling a rio head w shooting line, thinking maybe the spools were placed in the wrong box!

Pretty sure it's an honest mixup- never had an issue with any person I've dealt with here.
