Probably early and late is best.

Evening look for caddis activity.

Think of it as a trout fishery as far as tactics go.

Swinging small ~1.5" olive leeches on a sink tip is popular too.

Go now..........it won't last with the summer heat coming.

Have been having a ton of fun swinging soft hackles the past three weeks on the feather. It has been slowing down since the rain stopped... Here's one on my version of a G6 caddis. A herniator soft hackle... There really isn't much more fun in fly fishing than having one of these fish slam your fly and having it run like hell...

That fish is a beauty! If I had the time, I'd head to the Feather for a day trip!
