Right now is the big warm water bass season just getting started.
May/June is the peak of the early summer season for fly fishing lakes for trout.
A nice small practial all around boat size I really like is a wide 14 foot Jon boat with a new 20-25 hp outboard motor and a set of good long 8 foot oars on a good trailer. This boat is perfect 2 anglers with gear for lots of local fishing.
