I joined Kiene's to learn a bit about your part of Cali as I was making my way up to the Lost Coast to visit my son at Humboldt Sate U. Thanks for some good tips. Some amazing country from the SAC area, north, and on over to the coast. I figured I'd share with you my stomping grounds and extend an invite if you ever get down the Eastside.

Thanks so much for sharing! Pics are awesome! If you don't mind, how did you take picture #4. Special setting? Lense? Software? I'm relatively new to 35mm "real" camera work and would love to take some like that. Again, great pics!

The lens is a Tokina 11-16 2.8 (16-24 35mm equivalent) set wide with a B&W polarizer. Only manipulation would be crop and boosting saturation. Camera addiction is right there with fly fishing. Combine them and it gets real ugly.... Haha.
