I was getting more and more zombie like with the sunshine everyday. Horrible stuff when it goes on and on like that...November, December, January...nothing but sunshine and cold. My make-up is one of two season: Rainy and not rainy (having been born and raised on the coast) and this lack of rain seemed cruel and oppressive.

Okay, this really is about Fish....finally the streams and rivers here on the coast are getting some water. The steelhead are taking off their sun hats and sunglasses and heading toward the mouths. I am happy. I hope there is enough for them to get up river and do a little canoodling.

My favorite is fishing in the rain. People ask "are you really going fishing in this downpour" and I reply "the fish are already wet, they don't care about a little rain"

Looks good for you folks to the north.
The fish in the Six Rivers are gonna' be happy and our fish are still wondering where the heck the water is.....not to use too much anthropomorphism.
We will get the tail of these next few storms. We expect 2 - 3 inches out of these same weather patterns. But I'll take it!
