Walton Powell companion rod for sale

For sale is a near mint Walton Powell companion rod. The only issue is light soiling on the corks. I bought this from a forum member last year and am selling it as I have four other Walton Powell cane rods, including another companion, and this one needs a new home.

The rod is an 8'/9' companion. Tips are equal length and taper, one butt is 12" shorter than the other. the 8' rod weighs 4.6 oz and the 9' 5.4 oz. Step down ferrules are 16/64. Walt would have sold this as a 4-5-6wt (8' config)/5-6-7wt (9' config) rod and having fished it I agree. Wraps are chestnut tipped red. Anodized champagne reel seats with rosewood spacers. Matching serial numbers on both butts and both tips (1-84-122). Oil rubbed finish - which is perfect. Original brass cap Walton Powell tube and original custom sewn companion sock. This is a chance to own a completely original near mint Walton Powell Companion.
