SMALL STREAMS
Well no real big news, our small streams are low and VERY clear. That said they are fishing fair. Some big storms would put some color in the water and do wonders. There is a pretty strong BWO hatch around 1pm so bring your dries!
LOWER SAC
The Sac for me last week has been good one day slow the next. The flows are down as low as I think they can go and water is clear. Pretty good shot at big fish whether you fish upriver or downriver, upriver the big rainbows are still around and eating, downriver there are definitely steelhead around. If you fish this river on your own you should be out right now looking at all the structure that you can't see when the flows are at normal Spring/Summer flows. By the way I hope you all have noticed your new steelhead cards now cover the river from Keswick down to Red Bluff. 26 is Keswick down to Deschutes Bridge and 26a is Deshutes Bridge down. Those cards are going to fill up fast now!!!!
