WTB something in the sub 3 ounce range. The Orvis Battenkill III seems like a good fit. Simple, click pawl, light, bulletproof.

3/4/5 line size. I'd love to have something with a drag, but I think I've had fish on the reel all of once or MAYBE twice in the last three years of fishing.

Let me know if you have something that fits the bill getting dusty on the shelf.

Any chance you could put them on a scale?

thanks!

These were also the Cortland 'Crown' fly reel.

Thousands have used these for a solid starter reel and many just use them forever.

The Model III weighs 113 grams empty. I am storing a WF4 line on the smaller model II and with line and backing it weighs 127 grams.

Thanks for weighing those. I ended up using a coupon and buying a new Battenkill II - 2.9 ounce bare bones clicker. I'd still be open to other sub 3 oz. reels though.
