Excellent Crater Lake Day

We've had several days of warm, dry weather so the roads were clear and the temperatures comfortable. Decided to go see Crater Lake by snowshoe yesterday. It was perfect (at least for us whimpy humans. For the animals and trees and vegetation the snowpack is pretty sparse and needs some help soon). But it's uncommon to get a clear day with no wind in winter. We were happy.

Wow...beautiful pics! We made a stop out there 2 summers ago during a week long road trip to central Oregon. Love that place.

Crater Lake is a natural wonder. Rode a mountain bike around the whole lake one Fall many years ago. Long climbs and fast downhills!
