Lower Sac 12-27-13

Floated the Lower Sac yesterday from The Posse Grounds put in, to the Reginato Access Park. Had two fish on and landed none. The first seemed to be a decent fish that was taking lots of line. Tried a wide variety of patterns. Still had a great time with my boss on his drift boat. Nobody on the river seemed to be catching anything...

We ran posse to bonnyview this morning had 3 to hand lost a couple. Saw quite a few salmon

It sounds like you guys weren't doing anything wrong. I was out there yesterday with a couple of clients and the river was definitely in a funk. On Friday the Lower Sac fished good. Friday I did a half day and hooked 25ish fish from Posse to Bonnyview. However yesterday was a completely different story. We landed 11 trout and lost 4-5 others. One thing I will say is those fish were ultra quick on the grab with the north wind as we probably missed half of our strikes. So don't be dishearten the fishing was really tough yesterday.
