Is it considered mannerly to offer trades of non-fishing items for fishing gear?

I have some decent stereo equipment that I could use for Barter. A Luxman 5L15 Integrated Amp from their "Reference Series", a pair of Magnepan Planar Speakers, a pair of Definitive Technology BP8 speakers, a pair of Jamo rear surround speakers. A decent vinyl LP collection.

I need a lot of stuff beginning with rods, reels, fly tying equipment....
