We might get snow in the Valley for Christmas?

I remember only once in my lifetime that it actually snowed in the Sacramento area, big time.

What were you doing that day that everything here was white?

I was duck hunting out at the relatives' rice farm north of town.....Feb 5, 1976

I vaguely remember that time. However I do remember the freeze of 1991-2 (?) when the ponds at Grey Lodge were frozen. That was some of the best duck hunting I ever had.

We got snow in El Dorado Hills a couple of years ago that stayed n the ground for a week. I hope we get some this Friday and Saturday!!! I want to put my cats in it to see how they react.

It's snowing right now in Yuba City, 10;59am Sat 12/7/13 . My wife said look at the hail but it was coming down floating softly and melting as it hit the ground. Definitely SNOW.
