Nor Cal guide Gary Warren passed in 2011

Gary was a great guy and a good friend. I know some of the older folks here knew Gary.

I just checked the obits in Butte Falls and found he had passed away in 2011. He had been sick for some time.

Years ago he had a little fly shop in Sacramento. Later he worked with me at the Tower of Sports sporting goods store. Gary moved to Burney where he worked at Spring Creek Anglers fly shop and guided the Fall River and Hat Creek. He moved to Butte Falls, Oregon and still did some guiding. He is mised by lots of old freinds.

Gary was one of the nicest guys in the business. His shop on Fruitridge was the first fly shop that I ever visited. We became friends and he introduced me to Fall River in the late 70's.
