A friend of mine was out test his boat for a few hours at Discovery Park yesterday and said he lost track of how many seals where out there then asks me if that is normal....

He said he was watching them toss fish like a cat tosses a mouse around. He said there was quite a bit of fish floating around dead. Here is to hoping they dont come up river much! Also hope not many stick around for winter steelhead but we know how that goes.

From what he was able to count he said he spotted at least 10 and this was up around the I-5 bridge.

We need more of these. Good for jet skis too.

Ralph,.... If the predicted rise in sea levels happens, you may just get your wish. ;) Good natural population control.

Then everyone would be pissing and moaning about sharks.

LOL!!!! Come to think of it, I'm not sure Killa Whales and Sharks like each other much. One or the other'd have to go.... Either way, no more spearfishing in the American. ;)

Some years ago I was told of a bunch of sealions at the mouth of the Russian River in the fall and that some Killer Whales were eating them. Yahoo......
