Years ago that is the line they used for 'grease line' fly fishing for Steelhead on the Deschutes River.

You can roll cast with it and mend well too.

It would work on brushy steelhead rivers like the upper Trinity River.

You would need a larger light fly reel to hold all that line and some backing though.
