Here are a few valley steelhead from this weekend. All hatchery fish in the 18" to 20" range. I bought a two handed rod on the classified board this week and told the seller if I got a fish on it and a picture I would post. I have caught a few fish swinging before but this is the first one on my own rod and my own fly so kind of a first. My daughter says I got lucky and I may have but I have gotten unlucky plenty of times so I will take it. Hopefully the second fish won't be too many trips away. Good times in the valley.

Aron -

The rod is working like a champ. The casting needs some work but is good enough to get a fish every once in awhile.

I can tell you that rod has good vibes I witnessed the fish it caught.

I knew it was you rod Aron! Congrats John, you were lucky on both getting that rod and finding some steel.
