Anyone have info on RVing & fishing the Half-pounder run on the Lower Rogue River?

Next fall I am thinking of spending some time on the Lower Rogue River chasing the Half-pounders.

One of my reasons is the fact that I did it about 40 years ago and the other is the fact that the road runs right along the river giving pretty good access to drive, walk and wade anglers.


I am looking for some info:

What would be a good week to hit that run? Looks like some time in September?

What is a good RV park with full hook up on the lower river or near the mouth?

Places to eat?
