Spent a few days up in Kennedy meadows with the two boys. Had a great time catching Brookies and rainbow in the creek. Getting cold up there in the morning and evening. During the middle of the day is most active. Surprised they still are planting... Dropped two loads on Thursday in camp and the upper meadow.
There are still a few big 23" to 32" trout in the river. They don't move for much.
Pinecrest lake was a ball today. They were rising for everything 10 feet from shore next to the boat ramp. They were just hunting for food very active. Caught a few on emergers and wooly buggers.
