I don't visit this forum to buy cars & trucks, I hope the site administrator will put an end to this before it really takes off. If I want to shop for a vehicle, I go to auto trader, craigslist, the local paper, or the internet. It won't be long before garage sale items will be here to wade thru. I visit this site for fly fishing equipment and info. Is it just me?

I think it would be reasonable to limit classified ads to fishing-related products, and unless a vehicle floats it isn't really fishing-related, IMO.

Maybe you should sell the rod for $13.9k and throw in the Merc?

I have got no problem with a car for sale in the classifieds. Yes, things could go too far, but an ad here and there is a long ways from that. First thread I opened this evening.

One procedure that users can consider following: don't click on threads that you have no interest in. The title was pretty clear.

Or, let's make more rules! Yay!

Doesn't bother me tbh. I actually like idea of buying off this forum because believe creates more trust vs. open market. Granted wouldn't want find all sorts of non fishing stuff but think reasonable volume is ok.

If he calls it the ultimate luxury fishing vehicle, it could go alongside some of the 'Yotas and Fords and others which have been on here over the years. I could fit a rod, waders, etc in that trunk.

This post shows a lot of different "fishin' rigs"

I had to chuckle when I read the ad because for some reason I don't equate a Mercedes with a fishing car. Maybe that's the new wave of things to come. All my fishing cars have been trucks - old beat up trucks.

I tend to agree with those that don't want non-fly fishing related stuff listed for sale. Craigslist works just fine for non-fishing related items. The value in this forum is in its narrow focus regarding fly fishing related discussion.

Exit 7 .... brings back the memories of my former life as a bond trader. Sadly my friend died in the towers on the Cantor Fitzgerald Long Bond Desk that day on 9-11. On a positive note he was a fine person.

Exit 7 I tried to explain the Hoagie to the staff at Mr Pickles yesterday West Coasters just dont get it. My son asked if the slice I had from WHole foods was the best ever .... I tried to explain slices to him as well you just have to go and get them on the East Coast to understand ... but heck we have Ocean Run Steelies

No postage it was picked up and paid for yesterday now I have 14,000$ buring a hole in my pocket considering the Loop classic 811.

Any thoughts on the reel?

PS Got my hardy on tueday all lined up ready for a fight
