Upper sac

Decided to do an late afternoon/evening fish on the upper sac rather than dove hunt. Glad I did. Hooked 8 and landed 5. All came on a dark lord except one that took a cinnamon pupa. The biggest was 16 1/2".

Nice Josh. I love fishing the Upper Sac. All the elephant ears (behind you) streamside and just TONS
of open water to fish. Thanks for reminding me I need to get my butt back up there!!

EO, i love living so close. It was 2:00 when I actually decided to load my stuff and run up there.

Living in Redding, California is a really great thing for any outdoors person.

Most I know who live up there hunt and fish....

So many of our best Nor Cal fisheries are right out of Redding.

From Sacramento it would shorten our road trips up north by 2.5 hours.

Redding to Dunsmuir = 1 hour.

Redding to Burney = 1 hour.

Redding to Weaverville = 1 hour.

Redding to Arcata = 3 hours.

Redding to Medford = 2.5 hours.

Hey bill. I do hunt also. Just started hunting again last year. Just a bird hunter though. Haven't had any luck yet having to learn new places to hunt. I miss hunting all the farmers fields when I lived in Vacaville. There were always lots of birds.
