Hey Bill,
Please hoist one for Galen "Oregon Salmon" for me. I enjoyed our
postings and PM's over the years. Wish I could have met him in person.
One of a kind!
Best,
larry S

Thanks John...

He started coming around the shop in his teens with other fly fishing high school friends.

He was our "John Belushi"........never a dull moment.

Too bad he could not be there this weekend.

How's it going up there Bill? I'm sure Galen has put you guys on some good fish.

We had a great time up there.

Fishing was good and the evenings at camp were great too.

Lots of fun Geller stories with some really good food prepaired by Phil Romig.

Water is a little higher now and it is harder for this old fart to fish but I did manage to catch a few.

Hey bill. Hope to hit the pit in the next couple weeks with a fellow board member. What were the hot flies? Do you have any more pics from the trip? Did you guys fish 3 and 4 or just one of them?

I asked everyone what flies were working.

#8-10 black shaggy nymph

#8-10 October Caddis nymph

#8-10 Golden Stone nymph

Then various small #14-16 droppers on the bottom.

Most used Thing-a-ma-bobbers for indicators.

We thought a longer rod, maybe 10 feet, might be good for the higher flows.
