Caught these Bushtits feeding on Aphids today... They are constantly on the move as they feed.. I feel pretty lucky I got these shots!

The dark eyebrows and the light eyes give them a "mad at the world" look! Maybe it's because they hate eatin' upside down most of the time, Ha!

It's kinda' nice to get away from "fish politics" for a while!

What are we going to do when they all disappear? Not being sarcastic, Mike, I just miss how things used to be- Delta stripers, Sacramento River salmon... it's tough getting old and saying "it ain't like it used to be" to youthful individuals who are going to be sadder than us when they witness the precipitous declines the very near future shall bring...

Excellent work Mike. I'm not sure Ive ever seen one of these guys. He does have an angry look in his eye. Love the habitat with the big leaves. Well done!

Great shots, Mike. Bushtits don't sit still - ever. I really need to get me a telephoto lens...and a camera to attach to it.
