Mccloud falls

The wife and i had today off. sent the kids off to school and decided to go do something. So after almost 16 years living in redding I finally visited mccloud falls. Went up for a hike Fishing was secondary. Didn't fish much but threw a parachute adams with my 4wt. Had lots of hits but didn't come tight to any. Beautiful stream. Definitely will visit again with fishing as the priority.

Went back to the falls today with my son. Obviously the creek had been pounded pretty hard all weekend. Still managed a few to hand and lots missed. Had a good time with my oldest kid though.
