Any one get to test any of the new Rio Skagit Max heads? Just saw Rio's website and also saw the lengths that they come in. Boy they made them shorter to I wonder how they will work with the longer rods.

'Most people' are not using Skagit heads on longer rods now...........

If you have a longer rod and want to use a Skagit on it you can just look at all the Skagit lines made and find out which ones are longer in you line weight.

If you need help with a Spey line choice just call the shop on Sunday and ask for Doug.
