Here are some things about gasoline today that might help people with boats and RVs.

Keep your fuel tank full so you have less condensation. Water in your fuel is a comon problem.

Unless you run your boat or RV year round be sure to add a fuel stablizer to the tank periodically. With ethanol in the fuel there are more problems with induction systems, especially if your vehicle sits much.

Locally famous boat mechanics, Buck's Outboard in south Sacramento, recommends Chevron gasoline in new outboard motors.

Turner Volvo in Sacramento told me that they have seen better results with cars that ran on Chevron fuel long term. They said it kept the fuel injection system cleaner.

Adding an inline fuel filter is probably a good idea too.

What ideas do you have?

I hear that sta-bil does not take care of condensation problems but seafoam does both.. Preserves fuel and stops condensation. Good point Bill, keep those tanks full!

I add an ethanol treatment to all of my fuel. I have friends that had thier fuel lines eaten by not adding to the fuel.
