On Monday Jim Christensen and Jim Bare from Kiene's Fly Shop along with two of our friends/customers, Guy Deaner and Ed Bielawski, are headed to the Yucatan for a little "flats" fishing.
They are fishing for 3 days at Isla Blanca, just north of Cancun, then south down to Paradise Lodge for another 6 days.

This is prime time. July/August has low winds so you can see fish better and travel longer disances on smoother water.
They will be on the hunt for tarpon, snook, permit and bonefish.
This is a fairly common/annual trip for these guys....
