This is going to be picture heavy!!!

My wife our cats and I hit the road in our rv for 3 weeks heading for Glacier Park in Montana. We had perfect weather, no problems, friendly people, new adventures and an over all freaking awesome time. Probably one of the best trips we have made, did new things and saw incredible sights.

Started off by staying 2 nights in Idaho Falls on the Snake River. Fished one day but had no luck. Saw some cool stuff in town, I really like this bench.

Next we headed to Dillon Montana and camped right on a great section of hte Beaverhead. It was literally 30 feet from my rv and prime fishing water. Hit it with my 3 weight and got browns up to 17" on dries. Killer wading water with tons of fish.

The following day I got my one guided float trip on the Big Horn, so I hooked up with 4 Rivers Fishing which I highly recommend. I told the guide all I wanted to do was throw big dries and big streamers, he told me that was the plan and that I would have a great time. I also mentioned that I was hoping to see a moose some day and was surprised to hear that they were in that area. This was in my opinion one of the best waters to fish because the fish were big, strong, and liked really big flies. I missed a ton of big fish from not being use to fishing in a drift boat, but I also caught well over 30 fish so no big deal, I had a blast.

Aloha Scott, nice looking fish. Glad you are getting to hit some nice spots. I had family visit me this summer, so I could not go to montana. the water levels look very good. try a purple haze on the smaller feeder creeks. the westslopes love that fly. Go get some biscuits and gravy! Mems.
