I took the family up here yesterday for a horseback ride, picnic, and then some fishing. Let me tell you the fishing was outstanding. I fished for probably thirty to forty minutes and landed several rainbows. I met and spoke to several fisherman who were catching twenty to thirty fish. Not only that, several had caught fish in the 20+ inch range with one guy catching a 26 incher weighing almost seven pounds. The rumor was whoever was doing the planting was adding primarily larger fish. Either way, fishing here has always been good for me at least.

I fish that area regularly, even when the water is off I tend to have 10-15 fish days. This year they have been planting a lot more brood stock it seems. Great place to take first timers almost guaranteed to have them hook up on multiple fish.
