Help with rod ID

While cleaning out his father's garage, my brother-in-law found a fly rod in a sock. Very good condition. It's bamboo, nine feet two inches long, three pieces with an extra tip section, (four pieces total). The only markings on it say "Tyee Tackle". It has a sliding ring reel keeper on the seat.
Does anyone know anything about the maker? Any info will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Would post a picture of it and contact Jim Adams of this board to see what he thinks. At one time there was a Tyee Tackle Co. In San Francisco.

I suggest you go the the Classic Rod web site. They have a forum section that is all about rod identification.

Tyee Tackle is a tackle/fly shop in Campbell river on Vancouver Island. Been there several times. kinda odd a boo rod would have their name on it. Maybe no relation, but maybe worth a call.
