Here's something all of you who are going to La Paz and I guess this includes the East Cape. They, all the places who sell fishing licenses are completely out. The government didn't print up enough forms this year and they had a big run on fishing licenses. I understand that they don't plan on having any until mid August.
So, if you have a trip planned between now and mid August, you better go on line and buy one.
It's the law that you must have a fishing license if you're in a panga or crusier, fishing or not. This year, we were checked two times by the Navy, with marines standing in the back of this big boat with automatic weapons.
