Another summer striper

My good friend and ex Scott rod rep Steve Pagano got this big girl this morning. She went between 27 and 28 on the Boga and swam away very healthy.

Very nicely done Charlie and congrats on that beauty Steve! The shad must be thinning out if a big girl like that keyed in on the fly. Those big linesides are very wise and selective at that age.

Wow....that is a world class catch on a fly rod and great photo too.

I guess some of those big fish spend their entire life in the American River?

Congrats Steve and Charlie,
The spear fishermen didn't get all of them. Hope fully they don't get that one. What a beauty! Some thing to strive for. Good to you in the on coming summer.
