They look like an improved version of the old Valco prams.

They are all welded.....

You could order one up and pick in up while you are in BC fishing.

That's what I did 4 years ago. They are heavy but much more durable than riveted prams. My boat is on left with my buds Springbok pram on right. His boat weighs 80 pounds. Mine 150. Notice rod holder system on my boat. Ten foot prams allow that.

I then went to Lowes and bought wheels that I installed on 3/8" steel axle shafts. The wheel/axle shaft assembly can be moved around at will when needed. To load the boat into the bed of my 8' full size pickup I have two 8' ramps that I simply "row" the boat up into the bed. Very easy. Most of the weight is on the wheels and it rows like a wheel barrow. The boat sticks out as far as the open tail gate. To tow my RV up to BC I turn the boat upside down whith the wheels moved to the new "bottom". The truck is fitted with a folding tonneau cover. It is strong enough to allow me to row it up on top and secure it on bars that utilize the stake hole pockets. This is all a one man operation. I never have to lift the boat at anytime. Here are some pics:

Not sure how these will appear. Sometimes the iPad does weird things. Edit at will if so desire.
