Outboard Motor Repair Recommendations?

I need to fix my 4hp Yamaha outboard motor. The impeller/water circulation seems to be shot. I'd appreciate good referrals in the Sac area, if you know a good small engine mechanic that is trustworthy and reasonably priced.

It's a little farther than sac but I would recommend boat masters in Livermore.

I know time is money, but small outboards are pretty easy to work on with basic mechanical knowledge and manual. Most common fixes have how to videos online. I know it doesn't answer your question, but it is nice to know your way around your motor. Saves a bunch of money, and knowing your way around it can come in handy should you need to fix it on the water. A buddy convince me to do the same when I had issues with my 4hp Mercury and I'm glad he pushed me to do it myself.

Sutter Marine in Yuba City is the ONLY place I will take my Yamaha. They are courteous, honest, and do a great job. Only 40 minutes from downtown Sac.
