The roosters were on the eat today. As you see Steve is still knocking them dead. Just as Steve and Joan were leaving area for the day, Gary Bulla and Brian Horsley connected with a double. One of my new guys here in baja also tied into a ince 15lb rooster, name is Mack Tigert.. See that Phil let Alan know. A photo to follow of Mack's fish

The roosters are pulling lines and the dorado will soon start to show up in numbers. Bait is plentiful
If you're interested in making a quick trip to some of the best fishing in baja, I still have space available in the week of Jun 8 - 15
Remember, double occupancy is best to keep the angler's cost down. In my opinion, the fishing is only going to get better

Excellent Steve & Jay. My group is meeting at my hangar tonight to go over gear & strategy. Going to Valdez on Friday for weekend. There is 8' of snow on ground in boat harbor. Highs going to be in mid forties. Come on LaPaz!! See you soon.

gear and strategy, GEAR.... tan/white bait fish around 5" can be cut down if needed. Strategy, two hand retrieve fast.
It was 33 degrees today. Sunday it's going to be 39, Monday 43 and the rest of the week 36 and 37 degrees. Damn, that's cold.
OPPPs forgot that's celcius. The warmer the weather the less chance for heavy winds

Jay I have to train the newbies. Going to get them lubricated then practice the the two handed retrieve on the ramp in front of hangar. Beats setting home and watching the "Voice" with wife's, although two are single men. Might make later nights on the Melican'. Got to train em up.

that should work. I would make a little more height to the body, more profile
5am, time to head out the door, hopefully for some more rooster action with a few dorado throw'n in for dinner tonight
