I ran into a young fellow with one of these on a lake this past weekend. Great looking pram and I really liked the width.
I was hoping I could find out more info on the these prams.
I understand they are no longer being produced. How long ago did they stop making them and what sizes were available?
Thanks for any info you can provide.

Western and the Valco were very similar in dimetions but I think the Western was welded and I know the Valco was rivetted.

There is a nice 10' Valco on the classifieds. They are 55" wide at the beam.

Bill,

My buddy had a Western 3 bench and it was riveted and it weighed a bit more than the 2 seat Valco that I am selling.

Westerns were rivited. I have the small 8 footer. Fantastic boat if you can find one. If you take care of it they could last a lifetime. I only use mine about 20 days a year. I have had 2 rivets pull on the upper side which were repairable. The 8 footer carries about 350lbs. Whatever happened to the pram party discussed a few years back?
