Good news and bad news on the Lower Sac. First the good news. The crowds should be thinning out due to the general trout opener. The big fish should be finishing their business on the redds and return to eating. The flows have come up to around 11k (excellent flows for fishing) and look to be stable for awhile. The PMD bite has been great!
Now the bad news. WIND !!!!! Boy it has been windy. The wind makes it harder to hook fish but by now means impossible. If you can get a good drift you will still hook plenty of fish. It looks like the worst of the wind is behind us now and next few weeks should be great.
I only have a couple of days left open for May if anyone wants to get out, 5/10,5/11 and 5/24
