Ive been carrying around this hunk of burl for 15-20 years. It was a full piece once and I thought about making a clock. Then at some point I hacked some off of it for something and was left with this semi circle. It stares back at me every day I work in my shop. Then I had an idea. A fly display! Since Im on this fly box kick, why the heck not?

If I was into tying amazing, show quality flies, I would love to display this on my mantle. It would look awful nice on the counter in a fly shop ;)

So I want to sell it :) Anyone interested?

The recess is 3.5 x 5.5 inches and about an inch deep

Its either maple or Myrtle, I cant remember and its hard to tell with a burl this dense

These braces are mounted with a single screw so they can be taken off if you wanna hang it up.

It looks nice on a mantle! oops, forgot to dust :(

Its built to lean back at 10 degrees kinda like a desktop picture frame.

If no one here wants it, I'll prolly put er on ebay
